• The 50 States of the United States: Capital Cities and Information Links This site about the states and the U.S. commonwealths and territories has information about location, birds, colleges and universities, constitutions, flowers, mottoes, national forests and parks, newspapers, nicknames, populations, state and federal Representatives, songs and much more.
• Information Please Almanac: You can browse by topic or search. Also included are the Random House Webster’s College Dictionary and the Columbia Encyclopedia.
• The Old Farmer's Almanac: Like the print version, the online version includes information about astronomical events, weather conditions and forecasts, recipes, and gardening tips.
• Britannica Online: Search and read the full text of the Encyclopaedia Britannica. A search on Britannica’s site will produce results from the Encyclopedia, as well as Britannica’s directory of web sites, selected articles from magazines like Newsweek, and a version of Books in Print.
